Why is there a membership fee?
As much as we would love to have the site free to all, we have learnt from experience that this kind of freedom allows people to join who do not have the best intent for our community. If there is no membership there is no accountability and this leads to a level of anonimity that can be abused.
Our highest priority is the protection of our members so we have, we hope set the fee at a very low level as it is not intended as a revenue stream. But the fee is high enough that people with less good intentions will not join.
We would be happy to hear your feedback on this.
Is my information secure?
We wil always do our utmost to protect our members. Your information will never be sold on or given out to third parties without your explicit permission.
Why do you have a discounts and promotions page.
We will never have site wide advertising, this is one of the reasons for the membership fee. We also realise that there may be offers that we can get as a society that may be beneficial to our members. Thes will be listed on this page, which you can choose to visit or not.
What should I do if I see inappropriate behavior?
If you witness any inappropriate behavior, please report it immediately to our moderators using the report feature. Our team will review the situation and take appropriate action.
Can I share personal information on the site?
We strongly advise against sharing personal information publicly. If you need to share personal details, please do so through private messages and with caution.
How can I become a moderator?
We periodically look for new moderators to join our team. Keep an eye on our announcements for any openings and application instructions.
What types of content are prohibited?
